The Challenge

Mike had 400+ five-star Google reviews and a reputation built on honest, no-upsell service. But when his previous website went down due to a developer transition, his digital presence disappeared overnight.

Branded searches led nowhere. New inquiries slowed. He was relying entirely on word of mouth and his Google Business Profile to keep the schedule full.

He needed to get back online fast - and turn that reputation into a system that brings in new customers, not just the ones who already know his name.

Our Approach

The Edmonton mechanic market is competitive. The top-ranking competitor had invested heavily in a large multi-page site and ongoing monthly SEO. Outspending them wasn't the play.

Mike's real advantage was location - his shop sits just off the Whitemud, the most accessible option for South Edmonton. I built the SEO strategy around that geographic strength, targeting high-intent, location-specific keywords where Mike had a natural edge.

The result: #1 for "mechanic south edmonton" and strong page-one visibility for "mechanic edmonton" across his core service area.

The Build

A focused, single-page site built around one goal: turning visitors into phone calls.

Trust first. 400+ five-star reviews front and center in the hero. The biggest anxiety when choosing a mechanic is "can I trust this person?" answered before the visitor scrolls.

Psychology-driven copy. "Escape the Stress of Mechanic Shops" names the pain point. "Honest and transparent repairs without the upsells" positions Mike as the antidote. Every word builds trust, not just describes services.

Visual direction. The vintage Mini Cooper's headlights point directly at the CTA - the gaze principle guiding the visitor's eye exactly where it needs to go.

Authenticity. Everyone who knows Mike says the site is "totally Mike." The vintage aesthetic, warm palette, and straightforward language set the right expectation before a customer walks through the door.

"Ravencrest was unbelievably thorough with my needs for the companies website. He went over and above all expectations in a very punctual fashion; faster than expected to be honest. I highly suggest Ravencrest for any website needs!"
